Bio Updates

In March of 2009 Alexander Tentser directed Jill Wieck Singers and Orchestra in the production of the “Esther” Oratorio by G. F. Handel. This is the earliest oratorio by Handel in English originally composed in 1729.

In the Summer of 2009 and 2010 Alexander conducted composition workshops for children and adults sponsored by the Tucson Symphony Women Association. Tentser joined the piano faculty of the Tucson Symphony Women Association in September of 2009.

In 2009 – 2010 season Alexander performed several programs with a flutist Sandy Schwoebel, and Daystar Piano Trio in St. Philip’s Episcopal Church Friends of Music Series.

Dr. Tentser began his work as Pianist/Organist at the Rincon Congregational Church in Tucson in January of 2010. In May of 2010 he performed a violin and piano recital with his wife Anna Gendler in Rincon Friends of Music series.
